Welcome Tyann Scott to Global GreenTag International

We are adding to our ranks!

There has been some exciting movement at Global GreenTag International in the last month. We have built on our Business Development area by appointing Tyann Scott, a very valuable new member of the GreenTag business development team, who started full time this week.

Tyann has a depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in the Australian manufacturing sector with companies like Tarkett, Cosentino, Schiavello and The Laminex Group – and across areas including product specification consultancy and business development. You will note that all her building sector experience is with current or past clients with GreenTag Certified Products!

Tyann enters GreenTag as Sales Manager and Business Development. She joins another recent addition to the team, Sales Assistant, Skylar Wu, to help expand further the company's relationships and partnerships with progressive manufacturers, who have chosen to submit their sustainable product lines for assessment under the Global GreenTag Cert™ Product Certification Standards.

Tyann was recruited into the business, partly because Business Development Director, Brett Hazlett has chosen to pull back substantially on his hours with GreenTag and take more time out personally with his family. Along with other members of the GreenTag team, Brett has been orientating Tyann into an area of the business that he has effectively helped build over 15 years.

For Global GreenTag, Tyann brings a strong knowledge of Green Star relevant products, fitout and development of projects from both a sales and technical level.

In addition, Tyann has valuable experience as a qualified Real Estate Agent, who has completed many successful, medium to high end property transactions. She also understands the legislative and risk mitigation requirements of property and development with sound knowledge of the Building Code. She also has a successful history of educating Architects and Interior Designers with accredited presentations that give them Certified Professional Development points.

David adds: 'We were sad that Brett Hazlett had made an important, personal decision for himself and his family to pull back this year, but we understand entirely. The best news is, he is still going to be around with us and be joining us hopefully in 2024 at some of the bigger expos that we will be participating in.'

We honour his need to step back and wish him the best now to enjoy his farm in Queensland that he is developing by cultivating native and food crops using permaculture principles.
