Global GreenTag International Program Director Dr Nana Bortsie-Aryee speaks at the 5th Living Future Institute of Australia Symposium!
The Living Future Institute of Australia Symposium is returning for its 5th edition to Melbourne, from 8th to 9th November, and Global GreenTag International will be there!
Global GreenTag International Program Director, Dr Nana Bortsie-Aryee will be joining the panel: "Building Greener Buildings: From the Global Biodiversity Targets to Industry Action" at the 5th Living Future Institute of Australia (LFIA) Symposium in November.
The panel topic for the Symposiums' Industrial School Program, will bring together thought leaders, regenerative design experts and built environment professionals to help build momentum by promoting social justice, cultural richness, and ecological restoration.
Alongside Nana, the session features a stellar line-up of speakers that includes: Dr Dominique Hes – Member of Circular Economy Ministerial Advisory Group & Chair of Greenfleet, Joshua Bishop – Conservation Economist of WWF Australia and Laura Hamilton-O'Hara – CEO of Living Future Institute of Australia.
Nana says: "Gathering a great team of speakers, to brainstorm and discuss, where the industry is heading to and what we would like to achieve, is a stepping stone to real change."
As Global GreenTag's Program Director, Nana is responsible for overseeing all Standards and Certification related technical aspects of the current Global GreenTag Product Assessment systems. His role includes ongoing development of the Global GreenTagCertTM standards, the Global GreenTag EPD Program,, Product Health Declaration (GreenTag PHD) program and Modern Slavery Transparency Declaration (MSD) program.
The theme for this year's LFIA Symposium is 'Ambition to Action' inspired by those that reach beyond sustainability and aspire for the best possible. Through the Symposium, speakers hope to galvanise the industry to strive for the best and share ideas for how to turn ambition into action.
