2023 Sustainability Awards coming soon - book now for the Sustainability Summit too!

Global GreenTag International will be going to the Architecture & Design Sustainability Awards on November 9, 2023!

Now celebrating 17 exciting and action-packed years, the significance of the 2023 Sustainability Awards, of which Global GreenTag International proudly partners with, has intensified, especially given the profound events of the last few years.

One of Global GreenTag's certified clients, Bird Habitats has been shortlisted for their product Thermal Haven Nest Boxes, designed to restore habitats for hollow-dependent fauna. In addition, we have a number of clients (who will be speaking at the Sustainability Summit prior to the Awards), including Aidan Hill from Autex Industries, Aidan Mullan from Interface, Anthony Adamo from Veresol, Daniel Walker from Billi Australia, Kathryn Walker from Etex Australia/representing Siniat, Kelly Watson from Knauf Australia. Also on the speaking line-up will be David Baggs, CEO of Global GreenTag International.

Event organisers of the Architecture & Design Sustainability Awards, InDesign Media Asia Pacific, state:

"Occurrences have made these awards a milestone in many ways and provided a direct glimpse into humanity's path for the next decade, positioning the learnings gained from the entrants as a potent force for driving change and a more sustainable future."

This year's 2023 Sustainability Awards have garnered an exceptionally high volume, and for that matter, a high calibre of submissions.

And for the second consecutive year, the Shortlist was selected during a dynamic, live judging day, supported by Autex Acoustics, one of GreenTag's most prolific clients, who have a number of exemplar sustainable products certified under the Global GreenTagCert™ Product Certification Standard.

Noteworthy judges who participated in this year's jury to create a shortlist were: Simon Lincoln (Make Architects), Alex Symes (Alexander Symes Architect), Simone Schenkle (Gruen Architecture), Kate Nason (Frasers Property).

Mahalath Halperin (Mahalath Halperin Architects), David Coates (Sustainable Building & Design), Jeremy Spencer (Positive Footprints Sustainable Design & Construction), Arianna Brambilla (University of Sydney), Marni Reti (Kaunitz Yeung Architecture) and Ben Peake (Carter Williamson Architects).

In another milestone, for the first time in 10 years, the Awards will have a new Head Judge this year in the form of Jeremy Spencer, owner, and founder of Positive Footprints Sustainable Design & Construction, and an architect and designer who has for many years had a close working relationship with the Sustainability Awards.

The Awards' prospects, said organisers, are promising for the upcoming Gala Awards night on November 9 in Sydney. The event will reaffirm the Architecture & Design Sustainability Awards as the preeminent national sustainability accolades in Australia.

The Awards Gala night and the unveiling of the victors will be on the evening of November 9, 2023 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, following a full day of the Sustainability Summit at Allianz Stadium on the same day, which will also be available to participate in online.

Organisers invite you to secure a full day ticket for the Sustainability Summit, before it sells out. Click here for Bookings
