"It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks with a range of notable successes!" said David Baggs, Global GreenTag International's CEO and Program Director, who travelled through the US with Daniel Huard, CEO of Global GreenTag Americas and Brett Hazlett, CEO of Global GreenTag Australia & New Zealand.

The GreenTag team, he said, met with some trail blazing manufacturers both existing and new and a dazzling line up of green building professionals during the US tour.

Global GreenTag Americas' CEO Daniel Huard happily concurs, adding:

"It was great to visit with the team some really inspiring manufacturers who are committed to sustainable processes.  Then to attend Greenbuild together, which is a highly valuable experience to be a part of. It was a fabulous three days. When the sustainability community come together, they never fail to inspire," said Daniel who took up the reins of CEO for GreenTag Americas exactly one year ago in Chicago at Greenbuild 2018.

Brett Hazlett in his second visit to Greenbuild agreed "the passion in the US green building community is really uplifting plus it was wonderful to meet manufacturers in the US who are doing some very interesting work."

David Baggs adds that the Global GreenTag team were also invited to the grand finale event of Greenbuild, which was hosted by the Mohawk Group who have a number of products that have been certified by GreenTag.  He said: "Mohawk put on an incredible show. It was an event in itself and GreenTag would particularly like to thank George Bandy, Chief Sustainability Officer of the Mohawk Group, for his and Mohawk's hospitality."

"All in all, our trip was really successful.  Daniel Huard has been doing some wonderful work in the US in the last 12 months. Greenbuild went off swimmingly and the international team look forward to returning next year," said David.
